CHRISTMAS CARD FROM THE TEMPLE BOYS TO THE W. Y. ROWLAND FAMILY, 1927
Color: Black; Blue; Brown; Red; White
A Christmas card, sent by the Temple boys to the W. Y. Rowland family, 1927. The card, which is like a postcard, has an image on the front of four polo players in uniforms playing the game. Some details are painted or somehow colorized, perhaps done in manufacturing and the colors are red, white, and blue for clothing, while the horses are colored in black and brown. Below this, in script, is the printed message "Thomas Workman Temple / Walter Paul Temple Jr / Edgar Allan Temple / send Christmas greetings / and best wishes for the / New Year." There is nothing on the reverse or any other notable features to the card, for which the envelope is item 3.2. With a large crease at the lower left corner and some surface soiling, the card is in fair condition.
