"MAULE'S BULBS-SEEDS-PLANTS, SUMMER AND FALL 1928"
Color: Black; White
A 41-page seed and plant catalog issued by Wm. Henry Maule, 1928. The front cover has the title and the date at the top and top right, under which is an illustration showing five varieties of the Giant Darwin Tulip and prices for the brand in a box at the lower left corner. At the lower right is the company name and headquarters. On the back cover are product offerings of six perennial flowers with photographs and price listings. The inside front cover provides information on fall planting, ordering and a "liberal guarantee." Offerings begin on page three and include a wide variety of flowers, vines, shrubs, hedge plants, fruits, flower and vegetable seeds, and farm and grain seeds. Between pages 38-39 is an order form with spaces for purchaser's name and address, amount enclosed and columns and rows for product listings by quantity, item number, article name, and price. After this are a few pages of listings for clover and grass seed and plant food and insecticides. Listings are accompanied by product numbers, brief descriptions, prices by each and quantity, and, in many cases, photographs. There are pencil marks and inscriptions on several pages. A couple of small tears and some surface stains are on the cover, while the top right corner is creased on the pages, so the artifact is in fair condition.
