|Title||"RODDIS DOORS CATALOG G"|
Color: Brown; Gold
Catalog G, issued by the Roddis Lumber and Veneer Company, ca. 1920s. The 181-page artifact has a brown paper cover with a drawing of an interior door at center within an oval. Just below this are the words, "BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS / DESERVE BEAUTIFUL / DOORS." Across the top is, "RODDIS / DOORS," and the catalog number and name of the company are at the bottom. All lettering is in gold ink. At the beginning are several articles dealing with the quality and construction of Roddis doors; a description and images of some of the buildings with the doors; and a product guarantee. There are many styles of interior and exterior doors available made with such wood as mahogany, oak, and walnut. At the back is a section entitled, "Construction Details of Roddis Doors." There are many black and white illustrations as well as some photographs. With light creases at the corners; dented corners; and tears on the top and bottom of spine, the object is in good condition overall.
