A 48-page seed and plant catalog printed by the A. B. Morse Company and issued by the Model Garden Nursery, 1928. The front cover has the title and the date at the top, under which is an illustration showing grapes and dewberries in bordered boxes with their prices in a small bordered box at the lower right. At the bottom is the company name and headquarters. The back cover has product listings for six shrubs. On the inside front cover is a listing for Mastodon strawberries. The first page has a message from the company president with three testimonial letters from Paw Paw banks and the postmaster. Ordering information, a product guarantee, and an index are also featured. Product listings follow including fruit and vegetable novelties, followed by traditional vegetables and fruits. Another novelty section on page 13 includes more vegetables and fruits, but also coffee beans. Flower seeds, listed alphabetically, and other listings of flowers and plants follow. On page 27 is a new tuber called the Dasheen and lawn seed products. Bargains and customer testimonials are on the next page with miedicinal plants following. Listings for shrubs, hedge plants, vines, roses, fruits and trees are next, with plant food and insecticides at the end. The inside back coiver has more flower listings. Generally, offerings include very brief descriptions, prices by each and quantity, and, in many cases, photographs. The cover has creases, dog-eared corners and some soiling with the upper left corner of the back torn, while have some creases and very light discoloration, so the object is in fair condition.
