|Title||HOME OF PRESIDENT HERBERT HOOVER|
Color: Blue; Green; Red; White; Yellow
A postcard of the home President Herbert Hoover, ca. 1920s. The color image shows the two-story home at center with a flat roof; gray walls; two towers on the left side; and flanking patios on the second floor. There are some trees and bushes on top of both patios. Some ivy and bushes partially hide the walls and windows on the second floor and on the left. Flowers and trees line the front of the structure where there is also part of a wide driveway. A cloud-filled sky is across the background. On the bottom left corner is the number, "30094." Across the top are the words, "Home of President Hoover, The Campus, Stanford University, Calif.," and on the right corner is, "6088." Down the back center is the logo of the Pacific Novelty Company, and within a square on the top right corner are words indicating the amount of postage for the United States and foreign countries. With light abrasions and creases on the corners, and a tear on the back, the object is in overall good condition.
